B I O G R A P H Y

It's unknown what Fornax really is, be it a demon or a god, one thing is certain though, he isn't there to help no matter how kind he seems. He feeds off of the lonely, looming above his victims until they are nothing more than a hollow corpse, few ever realize they are trapped in his little world, even less escape. Though some who do figure out his tricks don't mind, at least for a little while, they weren't so lonely.

You find yourself sitting alone in a field with tears in your eyes, watching the beauty of the night sky in hopes that it will somehow reflect on to yourself. You look at the stars and wonder if they are lonely too.

It's strange, unlike most nights the sky doesn't seem so barren as it normally does and when you take a moment to wipe more tears from your eyes you see him. A stary figure, naked and beautiful stands at the end of the woods, he beckons you to follow with a gentle smile, something in his eyes makes you get up and go to him. The two of you walk for some time, in the quiet woods with not a creature in sight, eventually, you try to break the quiet but he cuts you off before you have the chance.

"I know." He says in a calm tone as if he'd known you were about to say you were lonely and close to giving up.

"It's okay." He adds with that charming smile of his. The two of you continue in silence for a little longer, it's peaceful, and you hate you admit it but his presence is welcomed, so much so you fail to realize just how long the two of you have been walking for. Hasn't this night been a little too long? You finally glance down and... Oh. Your feet have been worn down to now bloodied stubs at the ankle, the bone exposed and raw but... it doesn't hurt. You keep looking back at the calming man as if to show your worry but his warm smile assures you, you'll be fine.

You don't realize it, but the creature you're walking with is a facade. His beautiful appearance but a smokescreen to the demon that lurks within. His name is Fornax, the furnace constellation and he had felt your loneliness from among the cosmos, seeking it out like a drug addict in need of a fix. He preyed on your loneliness and lured you away into a dreamlike world while your body sits on that empty hill and slowly decays as he feeds on it.

How long will you keep walking? What else will be taken before you're gone?
