She was pretty, beautiful, and overall, gorgeous. She was the cutest of everyone around her, but she wasn't a fan of her Primary Gene. She would stare at herself, for hours on end wondering what she could do to make the Gene disappear. Should she ask for a Primary Gene for Christmas?
No...
It would be too long for her to wait...
6 months would be too long, she decided to ask her parents for an allowance for some Treasure and Gems. Her parent did give her the allowance, but 55k Treasure and 55 Gems were too little to buy a Primary Gene. She divided the allowance into what to spend and what to not spend. 25k Treasure and 25 Gems were saved. She swung a sack off her shoulders and deposited what was planned to save then swung it back onto her shoulder. Before heading out, she grabbed a cloak that appeared to be a coat of some sort. With 30k Treasure and 30 Gems, she headed off to The Market Place first to pick up some new friends, battle items, and some fresh new clothing of her choice.
She bought a Yellow Hank, Wing Bangles, and some Brown Breeches. She then proceeded to the Battle section and picked up a few stones with the remaining Treasure. Realizing she had no more Treasure, she departed the Marketplace overflowed with dragons of all breeds and sizes, and flew away to the Auction House to bid for some Apparel and friends. She wandered around for a bit until she saw someone auctioning a pretty white bow meant to be worn on the neck, no one was around to bid and the bidding was about to close. She rushed over to them and asked how many gems for the White bow, they replied that no one was bidding so he gave it to her.
For free!
Noon was so happy she gave him 10 Gems. She said, "For your troubles sir." and flew off into a different section of the Auctioning area. Swiftly landing at where the Familiars were being auctioned, she heard someone help last chance for this Smoky Bantam Fangar. A thought raced through her mind, "I need it." She ran as fast as she could to bid. The last bid was 9 Gems, she yelled, "10 Gems!!" Everyone looked behind them to find a small, irresistibly cute Imperial behind them, they were shocked. "Why such an adorable, and beautiful hatchling!" One yelled in awe, "What are you doing here in a crowded place?" Asked another.
"My name is Noon and all I want is some Familiar friends to take home. And please, don't compliment me. I don't like being the center of attention like I am on Auction. Thank you.". Everyone backed off to the side to allow her to pick up her new friend. A new, fluffy, freshly born, Smoky Bantam Fangar. She traded 10 Gems with her. And held her new furry friend.
"Here take this, I don't need it. But it might help you.". She held out something, it seemed old looking. "It's an old and worn Cabbie though, but it will look good on you.". "Thank you, ma'am". She replied. She put the overly sized hat on and flew away, back home. She had 10 Gems left and around 10k of Treasure left, she deposited the rest into her sack while in midair.
Arriving home, she took off her cloak and proceeded to go to bed but instead, she was met with a slash. Tearing her hands and part of her head. The intruder then tried to stab her but instead stabbed themself. Noon twisted the sword back to the intruder instead. Her Fangar launched at him, tearing his wings and face. Noon yanked the sword and sliced him, killing him. The sword broke with Noon holding one part, and the other half in his heart. She carried the sword even though it was broken, and explored the lair. Everyone was dead. Burnt to a crisp. She scavenged what was remaining of her burnt home. Some linen wraps, remaining scraps of material that could be worn, the flowers that hadn't been burnt, and the skull of the intruder.
Then, she disappeared.
Glitching out into Oblivion.
Where did she go?
No one knows...
Beautiful.
Lovely.
Of course, that’s what everyone sings.
But oh how her skin poured hatred into her heart.
How her staring eyes could take no more.
She gathered coins,
And headed off to market,
Perhaps to adorn her body,
Hide what she so wished would disappear.
And then back home,
A pleasant day.
But that soon dissolved,
Like her reality around her.
All was burned.
And a stranger slashed.
That was that.
Gone within an instance.
Notes:
Can summon sunset-coloured origami. (Usually summons cranes)
"And it all burned down to nothing in the end."
