Wersa sat quietly in the nest and watched as the little hatchlings ran around the nesting site. Then, a little hatchling caught her attention. A small Fae sat at a lone nest, and watched sadly as the other hatchlings played. Wersa realised with shock it was Koe, Lonko and Synia's hatchling. The last time Synia had been seen was when she laid Koe, and then she disappeared. Lonko was distraught. So distraught, that apparently, he had forgotten about Koe. Wersa got up, and waddled over towards Koe. He looked startled as she laid beside him in the nest, the tiny little hatching only the size of one of her claws. Slowly, Koe settled next to her, and fell asleep. Wersa laid within the nest, letting the small hatchling know he was not alone. e e |
