Visenya

Although Visenya embodies magical nighttime, the air and space around her when she is physically manifested are never dark, and her glowing hide always exudes a faint luminescence. She is only able to 'manifest' her corporeal form during the day, unlike Verin who is physically present and bound in his body at all times. Her magical essence, however, exists at all times, spreading out over the whole surrounding area during daylight hours. The concentration is strongest along the leylines that run through the clan, and it is along these lines that she typically coalesces when night falls.

Aragona, Caltain, Keiji and other extremely magically attuned beings are able to observe her essence during the daytime with focus, but even to them her presence is fickle, fizzling in and out of their perceptions. Her body is smooth and without imperfections, wings that glitter in patterns resembling the night sky and she possesses a second pair of feathered wings lines with otherworldy eyes that run along her spine. The eyes are able to float, and she always has at least one floating in the vicinity of her head, as her 'normal' eyes function only for decoration. She mainly relies on her magical perception of the world around her, being able to clearly see life in all forms as well as 'dark places' as she calls them, such as inanimate objects with no life force.

Her outfit, when she deigns to wear one, can be composed of light green silks that shimmer in and out of existence, though her wings are always wreathed in spectral mist that resembles hands, and two curved black horns protrude from her skull, circling under her ears and antlers.

Being in the night spirit's presence during the night, especially nearing midnight when she is at the height of her power, can cause euphoric and surreal feelings in other beings, and keeping her manifested form in your sight for too long tends to mesmerize dragons. Her voice, when she chooses to speak, is melodic and smooth, giving the impression that she must be obeyed. Although her mouth usually moves when she speaks, the sound is something you 'feel' deep inside you, as she communicates primarily with telepathy directly to the minds of others.

Unable to be seen during the day save by a select few, Visenya is still able to observe anything that her essence touches, but although she spreads said essence thin across large swathes of the forest, she tends to 'close' her eyes at this time, as the many sensations that assail her in that form overwhelm her. Although she has a somewhat frightful appearance, Visenya harbors no malicious intent, and not unlike Verin finds it difficult to relate to dragon emotion and logic. She does seem slightly more socially inclined than her counterpart, and is able to navigate interactions with much more grace on a regular basis. As she is only active at night, one is most likely to be able to speak to her on a nocturnal schedule, and she is at her most 'normal' in the few hours just before the sun rises, as she prepares to while the day away in incorporeal form.
