An elderly but still spry Spiral arrived at Moonlit Nyyt Weyr closely behind a spinning Mandrake, returning from a Shadow-bomb jaunt. He couldn't remember anything about his past, claiming he thought it happened 'last night and I can't remember anything! I don't know where I used to live or what I used to do - I got caught up in this tornado and it dropped me in here!!! All I remember is my name, Ventus - which they tell me means 'Wind' and I imagine that's where I acquired this armband. I also remember a lot of pink.'

Mandrake took his Matriarch aside and explained he had found the dragon wandering around Shadow near the Arcane border. He twined with him and brought him here, figuring that a lone dragon in his confused state shouldn't be left to wander. "He's from the Time of Sixx, Wyldyrn. He should be revered. And look - he has tattoos! I like him."

Wyldyrn offered Ventus a weyr and introduced him to a shy familiar the weyr had just found. They adored each other on sight!

Ventus is thriving now. He's exploring the lands of Emberglo with his familiar and has expressed a desire to venture into the coliseum. Shortly after arriving, he talked with Shadymum, who arranged for him to show off his tertiary. What better way to express happiness with his new home than to reveal the color Shadow. Shadymum also researched his offspring, who all appear to have Arcane eyes. That explains him remembering the color pink. Still, no one knows what happened to him or why he left his Arcane home, but Ventus explains it by saying "I never really liked pink."
