Biography

Disgraced Queen, wife of Circe. She traveled for so long and so far that her feet are now scared, and though it really isn't that bad it only reminds her of her husband and the fall of her kingdom, she can't help but to weep at the sight of them.

  • Elvira had spent her last year as Queen scrambling to pull her husband's kingdom together as it fell apart, all the while lacking the skills one would need to do so. A desperate attempt borne from Circe's lack of diligence and fixation on being a King rather than acting as one. The stress took it's toll on her mental health, she watched her people suffer with poverty, starvation, and an overabundance of crime, she watched the decay of a place she considered home, no matter how much it seemed like a prison for her. Despite all her efforts, the common folk rose with the force of their elements and tore apart the city from the inside before she had the chance to prepare for it, her husband abandoning her in the castle mere hours before the fall.
  • In her escape, rubble had smashed the bones of her wings and glass tore apart her feet, and as she wandered away from the collapsing city in shock, her wings dragged along the ground at her sides. She continued to walk for two days and a night before the pain of her broken, raw wings and bleeding limbs drew her from her daze, and she was forced to seek help. Within the nearest town she played the part of a displaced maiden in distress, and though her story was a lie, her tears were real, but no aid was granted to her from the wary citizens. Luckily for her, a rather large Imperial, Galliard, and his retainer Leocadia responded to her pleas, the retainer tending to her wounds under the Imperial's request.
  • It had taken a lot of personal hardship, but Elvira is now in a place she's both familiar with and content in beside Galliard. She wishes to be closer to him, however...she still feels bound in her marriage to Cierce.
