A fiendish beast whose gut lies empty and whom squirms for sustenance, insatious and fervid. None know his narrative, nor how he emerged into this realm. Perhaps he had existed before the first deities, Sun and Moon. Or rather he arrived writhing and spitting into this world after its creation. But despite his origins, only those who have heard his legend can fear him. He had once nearly consumed the Moon, his vast, snaking form threatening to spill into all that is nothing, to envelope, and to devour.
Nyarlathotep is a truly immemorial entity and as old as time itself. He lies dormant now, quelled by a violent and ancient magic... Yet he grows more restless as the ache within his stomach intensifies as centuries pass.
