Greatknight Glaive may be the very definition of "half as long, twice as bright". In her time, she was a renowned berserker and vaunted member of the Clansguard. Yet, she fell victim to that curse which afflicts so many of her kind: the fickle Imperial lifespan, bringing on advanced old age well before her peers. While most of the clan's imperials have no trouble attaining an age of several centuries- indeed, the Valari are notoriously long-lived even among dragons- Glaive's heyday spanned mere decades, senescence striking so suddenly that her clanmates at first assumed she had taken ill. Alas, the Ironhide's vigil had ended. She now reluctantly rests idle, her battered iron armor bearing the scratches and dents of a life of fearless service.
