Lenore has been one of the greatest frustrations in Lakeisha’s life. Hatched from an elemental egg, she possesses great innate magic—and she has absolutely no interest in using it. On the contrary, she actively avoids situations where magic is in play, refusing to handle magical artifacts and sneaking away from arcane workings. This is pure rebellion on her part—she chafes against Lakeisha’s controlling personality and the expectation that she should be some kind of magical prodigy. She was originally triad bonded with Lakeisha and Gowan, but she broke the bond in a moment of extreme anger, much to Lakeisha’s shock—especially since it was done unconsciously and without any training, in a reflexive burst of sheer power. Since then, Lenore has categorically refused to be in any triad. Instead she’s paired up with Shanneira, and the two of them have been very happy with each other, aside from the occasional argument. Shanneira doesn't understand why Lenore doesn’t just leave the pack, since she has so many issues with it. Lenore doesn’t really understand it either, but—the pack is home, it’s what she knows, and aside from Lakeisha’s creepiness, it’s not such a bad place. She has friends, she has her (very hot) girlfriend, and she has a valued role as a hunter. She enjoys her job, and she’s extremely good at it, with a quick, hard-hitting style. (Although she’s one of the smaller dragons in the pack, she’s solid and muscular.) Sometimes she does get restless, though, and finds herself frustrated by how very small her world is. The Spire is isolated, and the pack took up residence there when she was very young, so she doesn’t remember much from before it. Part of her yearns to go out and explore, but an equally powerful anxiety has so far held her back. Someday, she tells herself. Someday.
