Drift smiled to himself as he placed the last ingredients into the potion pot he carefully stirred. This batch of potions was for the hunting teams so they could return safely. Carefully measuring each portion so it would give the best results he placed each into bottles which were then very carefully loaded into a pouch the Healers could easily carry to assist any in need. He knew it was rather silly to worry so much about those out hunting in the Wastelands surrounding the Clan, but he was of the mind that one should be as safe as possible! That’s why he wore wing guards even though he rarely left the main grounds of the Clan, and certainly not without a Warriors protection! The last time he tried to explore for new herbs and ingredients for his potions and spells, he accidently came home with an Otherworldly Aura attached to him as a familiar! He was quite embarrassed when it wouldn’t leave and the rest of the clan made fun of his mistake, but he had gotten used to it after a while and would miss it should it leave now.
Readjusting his arm pieces now that he had finished his work for the day, he headed off to chat with his soon to be mate. He craned his neck around and spoke softly to his familiar “Are you ready to head off as well?” The familiar, possessing no voice, waggled its head in some fashion of agreement and drifted off behind the young Skydancer as he ambled off across the grounds toward the far side of the clan territory.
