Fruit has been an inquisitive dragon ever since a young age and this inate curiosity (naivety playing a large part also) caused him to become friends with the wrong sort. At the promise of knowledge and power, Fruit became an apprentice of a witch living deep in the Shrieking Wilds, essentialy giving up his old life in order to learn from her. Of course, she never made him into anything more than a mere companion, a carrier of her deeds and the occasional posion stirring helper. Fruit, though, doesn't mind. He sees the witch as an idol, someone to be respected and because he doesn't get treated especially bad, he waves it off.
