Questions:
What sparked her passion for beekeeping? And what are the methods she uses for processing honey, anyway?

NOTES ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

My home clan is not very important. We're not large, don't have any miraculous skills, and we don't get into fights with other Clans. However, Clan Caraway has two claims to fame. The first is always coming in second in the Minstrel Jamboree kite fights. (We'll win someday.)

Our second claim to fame is honey. Caraway honey is the sweetest, purest honey the Zephyr Steppes has to offer, and I promise that I’m not biased.

It all started with my Clanmate, Kibara. I can't say that I particularly liked Kibara. She's gruff and never had the time of day for anyone, and when she started fussing over bees, I thought her age might have caught up to her. However, the years she spent crafting new beehives and seeding her own flower fields payed off. She developed her own method to separate the wax from the honey, and news of it spread through the Windswept Plateau.

She lined the walls of the Caraway hoard with jars of clear, amber honey that reflected warm light onto the floor of the den. Considering that my clan didn't have many ways to bring treasure into the community, Kibara's honey was an excellent source of revenue. It sold out at every festival.

I suppose I'm feeling nostalgic. I enjoyed Kibara's honey more than most, as many of my students would gift me a jar when their parents couldn't afford to pay me in treasure. It was fresh and fragrant and the most delicious thing in the world.
