Raphidi's shady counterpart, also under Edge's command, who obtains items that aren't available through the usual channels and sometimes aren't supposed to be available at all. Likes to wear whatever strikes her fancy in something of a jumble, which can really take away from her mysterious appearance. Very possibly enjoys her rivalry with Raphidi even more than he does. She taught him to play Glimmer and Gloom so that gloom would always win; unfortunately, he was smart enough to flip her teachings around to play in light's favor. A frequent traveler due to her duties, but somehow never misses anything that happens back home. Gossip-monger; she likes to start rumors and see how far they travel. Since the Invector army isn't as large as its commanders may wish it to be, they often go quite far, although somehow no one's managed to identify Polytela as the source. Her top hits so far: Vectorlord Aggar's charge is actually Robberfly, Edge or both. Zelus, Taphrina, Teg, and Myro all share parents and those parents are none other than Robberfly and Edge, who hate each other.
