Syruce

I adore the lightning apparel he adorns, so here's an idea for lore:

When one becomes forcibly embued with elemental energy sourced from natural phenomena such as storm clouds, they tend to experience lingering effects. This is usually short term, maybe a few months to fully drain out, but patients of these accidents can face lifelong symptoms from it.

Syruce has suffered from multiple minor electrocutions throughout his life, mostly little shocks from everyday life in the Shifting Expanse. This time, now in the Starfall Isles, he's dealing with the most severe so far.

He was securing some metal fencing around the perimeter of the Circuit's worksite when a post was struck by lightning, from storm clouds caused by the electrical leak bringing static to the air. The energy surged through the post to his claws, then out to the tips of his wings as they touched the ground.

Syruce is lucky to have survived yet another accident but is now heavily injured. Everything is tinted blue, and veins of glowing teal shine through spots of his body where scales have come loose.

He is unable to continue his work until he fully recovers, and the company men above his level aren't being kind about his pay.
