bio ❧ Born to Evelyn and Lucian after their clan had been well established for several years; Cruz was their firstborn child and beloved by both his parents and the clan as a whole. He was raised with the help of the whole community; and each day he grew so did his compassion and concern for others. He was taught as gently as one could about the world outside the one he'd always know. When he was old enough he learned more details about how cruel and unfair the world was. When he was old and strong enough to set out on his own Cruz left the clan to start his journey. He needed to see the harsh world for himself. He was lonely; having been born without any siblings in his nest, so he travelled alone. His compass was his guide and treasure; a connection to his family and clan. Cruz skirted battles with other crows for as long as he could; not wishing to partake in unnecessary violence - something most crows would scoff and call him weak for. His first battle was unescapable, however he won. Despite his win Cruz refused to kill his opponent; instead he stole something of theirs as a trophy - a feather. Thus his collection of feathers began. Each battle he won; he'd take a feather from the defeated and wove them into faux wings. Cruz had always detested the thought of crows taking others wings as trophies; so he mocked their barbaric ways instead. Now his crimson wings are infamous across the lands; an display of power, but also mercy. He returned home matured and wise; but all the more passionate. With his newfound reputation and knowledge; Cruz accepted the mantle of heir apparent to the Kokai with determination. whenever he defeats an crow in combat he takes one of their feathers to add to his collection; instead of removing other kinds of crows wings for sport he simply makes his own from the feathers he has collected over time.

He prefers to try and peacefully resolve things when he can; but when that fails he isn't afraid to fight and is an incredibly skilled warrior.
