bio ❧ Evelyn set out on her own as soon as she completed her training. She loved her family but she'd always dreamed of setting off on her own and starting her very own clan. Itching to set out, Evelyn wandered all over, besting any challenger she came across. That was until her luck ran out. Her opponent had been much more violent and strong than she had realized, and Evelyn barely survived the fight, somehow defeating them before she dragged her injured body from the sight of the skirmish. Bloodied and bruised, Evelyn was sure she was going to die; alone and her dreams never fulfilled. Her luck returned to her in the form of an albino male. His kind act of mercy saved her life, as he nursed her back to health, caring for her wounds despite being strangers. When she recovered, she was incredibly grateful towards him, it was rare to be offered help from strangers. He introduced himself as Lucian, and Evelyn grew fond of his gentleness and generosity. After sharing her goals with him, Lucian ended up sticking by her side as she traveled, and the two grew close. Evelyn couldn't imagine her life without him, he was the one who talked her down from being too reckless, and she was hopelessly endeared by his love of anything sparkly and pink. It wasn't a surprise to her when Lucian shed his apparel and displayed his wings in a dance. Her response was much less graceful and fluid, but she was nothing if enthusiastic. The two became mates and Evelyn couldn't of been happier. To say they hadn't begun to make a name for themselves would be a lie. Evelyn was determined more than ever to grow their numbers and create a clan. She and Lucian decided on taking unclaimed territory situated between The Scarred Wastelands and Starfall isles for themselves. Evelyn had been wandering in search of a home ever since she left her family behind, never satisfied or content, but her heart could tell this was the place she'd been searching for. Now they had a place they could call their own, Evelyn and Lucian quickly got to work. It was a slow process to start but after several months of hard work, the once desolate and empty spot of land they called home grew into an flourishing tight knit community. where his mate is uncontrollably free-spirited and wild, Lucian is gentler and cautious. He's passionate about helping those in need, which has often gotten him labelled as soft and weak willed. Lucian prefers to dress himself in various shades of pink instead of the typical red and black of their species, and loves anything that sparkles. Evelyn is always bringing him random trinkets she finds to add to his collection. He's not the most vicious of fighters, he was the weakest hatchling growing up and only has managed to survive out on his own for so long using his wits.

When he met Evelyn she was severely injured after barely surviving a fight, and he nursed her back to full health. Evelyn was wary of his motives at first, not used to strangers showing her such extreme kindness, but she grew to trust him. Lucian quickly grew fond of her, his feelings a surprise to himself; as seeing as she was so fiery and reckless, he expected to dislike it. But he liked it. Evelyn shared with him that she had always dreamed of leaving home, though she loved her parents she had wanted to strike out and make a name for herself. Make her own home and lead a lair. Lucian admired her ambition and drive, and happily was the first one to join her. The two stuck together for some time until Lucian mustered up the courage to remove all his apparel and dance to her, nervous but practised enough that it came across as effortless. Evelyn quickly reciprocated, albeit less refined in her excitement, but Lucian thought she was perfect.
