He's always looking like he's crying. The truth is though that he for unknown reasons has absorbed excessive Shadow energy resulting in well‐known phenomenon of Primal Eyes. Thanks to belonging to the pretty much legendary group of dragons, he's an extremely talented Shadow Mage since the very early days.
Despite the popular beliefs about Shadow Primals, he can see very well, maybe sometimes can have hazy vision, especially when sad because of producing more "tears".
Even though left The Tangled Wood in a pretty young age and lived in The Viridian Labirinth before he finally came to the Clan, he's one of those who knows the Wispwillow Grove better than most, even older Shadow dragons that lived there in years. He can't be really trusted, though, because he tends to leave the dragons who he leads into the Grove's forest alone.

I haven't even thought about it when choosing the name but... he kind of looks like one of The Shadowbolts from MLP???
