Given Contour Renamed to Adaliah Given Bright eyes on 2024-01-21 Bio - Thousands of years ago, Adaliah once carried a name different of her own during the height of an ancient civilization that is now long gone. She assumed the role as protector of this city, providing many citizens with hope during hard times and because of this they lovingly gave her the name Aniah meaning "the divine answer". When a drought threatened to cripple the city, Aniah heard the cries and called fourth dark energies to bring fresh waters to her beloved city. Much to her dismay, the Energy was uncontrollable and sent powerful waves that flooded the city claiming many souls to their watery graveyard. The few remaining resented her as their homes were destroyed, family lost and what little sustainable water and food that was left has now been destroyed. Shame overwhelmed Aniah and with her people no longer regarding her as a God, she fled the city looking for a place to free her from remorse. Left to perish, the citizens that once looked up to her stripped the title they once believed held true. Instead of Aniah, they began calling her Adaliah, "the tide to end all", as a reminder to many families whom of which were lost. Hundreds of years of failed attempts, she grew weary about her self worth and induced herself in a deep slumber in the Sea of a Thousand Currents. There she hibernated for thousands of years, hoping that the life on Sornieth will once forget her mistakes and welcome her again. During her slumber, the Energy she once called upon manifested itself in the form of crystals on her body, growing steadily with each hundredth year that passed. They grew to huge proportions and, even with magic, will not disappear as a constant visual reminder of the time she called the tide to end it all. Mated to None yet Art None yet |
