Tipsy Traveler Inn, City of Caesura, Wind Territory
Pass barely remembered his early days. They were a bit of a haze by this point. He knew that he and his sister had bounced around from clan to clan like ships to ports, but not why. He knew he was from the Sunbeam Ruins, but he only vaguely recalled his parents faces', let alone their location.

But that meant little to his current state. He did know one thing: that traveling was what he was meant to do. He had still been very young when he had stumbled off an airship in a Wind Territory port city. He had barely stopped to marvel at the colors and shapes of the ships, buildings, and dragons before a sailor had scooped him up and carted him off to "somewhere more appropriate for a young'un to play". That "more appropriate" place happened to be an inn that rested in the more residential part of the city. Nestled between a sprawling garden and an old fieldstone wall was a cozy structure that seemed to hold far more dragons than should be possible.

It was here that Pass spent his youth, taken in by the staff of the inn itself. They raised him on stories from all the travelers that passed through, and trained him in many useful skills, from knot-tying by the old pearlcatcher Misery, to plant identification by a strange pink golem named Macaron, and by far his favorite, cooking with the Inn's owner, Chalina. He soaked in all the love and attention like a sponge, for a time happy and content to live with this found family.

But, as was seemingly his nature as even a small child, he once more got the itch to wander. He had been fed on stories from many different lands, and he wanted them for himself; he wanted to be able to one day return to visit with his own stories to tell! It was a bittersweet day when he bid his adopted family farewell, tied up his backpack with his traveling supplies (as well as some cookies from Chalina), and took off to find some new stories to tell.

Divantae's Inn/Hostel, Clan Seawolf, Plague Territory
Spying a caravan in the distance, the young spiral flew to catch up with them, eager to embark on his journey. The caravan entered the neighboring Scarred Wastelands, and within a few days arrived at a small port. It was as if he had not left home. Directly ahead of him was a large building much like the Tipsy Traveler Inn. Upon entering, a friendly guardian introduced himself as Divantae, proprietor of the Inn. Resting open upon front desk was a large tome, filled with the names and details of many travelers and residents. The place was the local hub for travelers and residents alike, all welcome with their needs and wants answered. For the next several days, the two of them spent long hours trading stories and anecdotes about the world beyond, striking up a fast friendship. Soon, Pass felt the itch to travel, and with a wave goodbye to Divantae, stepped onto the open road once again.
