"You've been so quiet. What's on your mind?" Hermokrates asked her.

Auxentius blinked a few times and shook her head. "Nothing. I'm just lost in thought."

"We're nestmates. You can trust me. What's on your mind?" He sat beside her, taking the brush out of his mouth.

She sighed, shifting herself towards him. "I don't know what's to come, but it isn't good. All tensions end in something changing, and I fear for my future brethren, having to grow up in here. I hope one day they can be free from the grasps of the court."

"I believe in us, we can stop them. I can help you." He said hopefully.

"How so? We're still young, we're hardly even on the court. Father cannot do much either."

"We will stand with our future kin. If anyone's bound to have an answer, it'll be one of them. We'll just have to trust them. They shall rise up in time."
