C L A N • B I O G R A P H Y

The clan beneath the trees was founded many seasons ago by Watcher and Slither. They welcomed every dragon who wanted to find some peace of mind beneath the ancient trees. Watcher took the forgotten and overlooked ones as her charge, drawing all her energy from the love she and her husband had for each other.

Slither felt out of place though and left the clan in search of a greater meaning of life. His disappearance was sudden and left a big cleft in his wife's heart. She left her charge and all that was good and fair in the Viridean Labyrinth and went looking for her love.

Her search led her through jungle and wastelands. Many say she wandered deep into Plague territory and lost part of herself there. Others say she lost herself the day Slither left. The clan went to shambles without a secure leader. Luckily Yarorn took the place of a leader and advisor in Watcher's absence.

Yarorn and his wife Snarls cared for the clan and the clearing and, upon Watchers return, they cared for her until she found her place in the clan, and alongside of Yarorn and Snarls, again.

Together they care for abandoned eggs, wounded beastclans, old and frail dragons, and whoever needs a temporary home. Watcher and Yarorn took on learning to fight and assist in fighting by Duinwen, while Snarls was on a journey to figure out her own place in this world. This concludes the becomming of the clan beneath the trees.

Since then, many a dragon joined the three and their children, most to stay for good. Slither returned from his serve to the Gladekeeper but was changed beyond recognition. The clan temporarily fell into a slumber but figured it was time for a change and a spring clean.
