Diamond

Diamond was discovered wandering the steppes as a hatchling and was adopted into the clan. He never spoke about his past, but it was guessed that he was from some aristocratic clan. He thought very highly of himself and ruled a small group of dragonets. The group was taken by Skull when Diamond became an adult, but he still holds a little power over the now older members.
He was an excellent artist and wanted to pursue a career in the arts for a short period of time.

Despite thinking he was the son of some noble aristocrat, Diamond just sat around in his clan, trying to find his place. He wasn't a good hunter, or a good fisher, or a good digger. He couldn't fight very well and was rather awkward as a diplomat to others.
Eventually, he just accepted that he would just be a drifter, maybe one day going to a whole new clan.

Then the Crystaline Gala rolled around.
Diamond had never had so many dragons complimenting his scales, stopping to chat with him, or asking him about his position. After many admirers asked if he was the ambassador of the Icewarden, he immediately decided that that's what he would be, no matter what.

He put down a list of expensive items he would need, combing the records very meticulously to make sure he didn't miss any fancy jewel that could gonnect him to the Icewarden. He sent an official letter to the Icewarden, which would eventually be accepted. He spent much of his time talking to Erlen, a Wildclaw from the Southern Icefields, and Orrin, who had lived there with his mother for a very short period of time. He would live up to expectations. He would truly be special.
