Sunset

...O-oh wow. Mr. Ridgeback? You do realize that isn't a paper cut? Onyx? Oh, that's pretty. I'm Sunset....

Sunset is a naive dragon, always seeing the best and only the best in ALL dragons. Skull is a sweet baby, Sludge is a cute boy that needs some help, and Diamond is just being silly about how important he is. At least that's what she thinks.
Sunset was discovered abandoned in her egg outside the Clan's tunnel. She hatched in Kia's claws, immediately imprinting on her and Stormflight, hilariously. She learned not to call them 'Mommy' and 'Daddy', though she still thought they were her parents. When she was old enough, she trained to be a healer. She left home for a few months to help dragons fighting against the Plague kingdom. She met a plague traitor on the way there, a nasty cut on his neck and side, left to die. He introduced himself as Onyx. She healed him, cared for him. Despite the things he did in the battle, she fell for him. They became mates and Sunset laid two eggs. A few days later, she returned home to find the place trashed and Onyx gone. A note with a skull on it enlightened her. Onyx had been taken by Skull's group. They had mercifully left her eggs alone, but she missed her mate dearly. She sent him a letter when the hatchlings hatched. A female guardian that looked like her, and a male ridgeback that also shared Sunset's color, but had his father's smile and shimmering scales. They lived together for a few years, receiving and sending letters to and from Onyx. Her son left home to forge his own path while her daughter, Bubblegum, became a leader of the small hatchery they had, along with Kia and a few other dragons.
Sunset wants to see her mate again, but she doesn't feel ready to commit to all that Skull demands. Maybe one day in the future........
