Kia came from a long line of religious dragons, most of her family, siblings, and half-siblings were exalted to their gods. Due to her lack of proper family, she longed to have a dragonet to care for. She had a track record in her old clan of bringing home young familiars and lost hatchlings (Who were promptly returned to their families). One day, she saw the exalt caravan passing through. The Icewarden caravan. She knew this was for her and was horrified. Exalted dragons were not allowed to care for familiars or dragonets. She fled her home, running away from the place she knew better then anything. She collapsed in a tunnel in the Wind steppes. She awoke in a new tunnel with a pretty violet imperial smiling at her. After a tight hug, the confused Kia was filled in on what had happened. She had been rescued by a fae and her mate, who had taken her in. She also noticed a dark, black and green-ish tundra asleep in another cot. When he awoke, she helped him understand his situation better. Once he was back to full health, she found herself spending more and more time with him. Eventually he proposed, and they had a clutch of eggs, She adored her two daughters and wished she could do EVERYTHING for them. When she lost Toxin (later known as Poison), she could almost feel her heart break. Her sweet little Toxin, gone. She became overprotective of Rynn, trying to keep her safe. Toxis and Stardust tried to help her get over her loss, but her biggest comfort was in quiet time with her mate. When Rynn left, she was crushed, but Orrin kept her from falling into her misery again. She cherishes every letter she gets from Rynn and sometimes sits outside the lair, listening and waiting for Toxin to return.
