One would think that, being a manticore, Shrudari would be vicious and cruel, and monstrous. But in fact, she's quite the opposite. Not all manticores are dangerous monsters. She was raised properly by loving parents, and introduced into society young. Dragons intimidated her at first, being so much larger than she was, but she learned how to act around them, and how to read them. Maybe it was because of her manticore blood, but she can sense emotions in others fairly easily. She used her ability to her advantage, calming down fights with fellow manticores and even dragons, from a young age. Because of this, many came to her for advice, and she helped them the best she could. Wanting to help others outside her hometown, Shrudari decided to travel, to see how many she could help. When her travels took her to the Tiered City of Ilthorne, Shrudari was nearly overwhelmed. She had never been in such a big city before. A lot of dragons avoided her, given that she was a manticore, but a good number of dragons were also very helpful, showing her where certain places were, and what places to avoid. She settled into the Top Tier of the City, setting up shop. As soon as word got out that a therapist was in the area, she was soon overwhelmed with appointments. Quite a few dragons were stressed about work and living in general, and a few were rather depressed. Shrudari helped them all out, giving them all sessions of equal length, and focusing on how to improve their lives, while giving them all personal attention. They are never just a paycheck to her. Ever. She cares for each of her patients, personally. Shrudari is a kind-hearted manticore, with a huge heart. She gets to know her patients personally, so she can connect with them better. She even shares her own experiences, opening herself up, so that her patients can get to know her better. She always lights candles, incense or wax melts in her office, when having her sessions. Whatever the patient prefers. She believed scents help others relax, and helps them open up their senses, and perhaps even invoke certain memories, to help with their session. When she's not in session, she's curled up with a nice book, and a cup of great tea. |
