Biography

Quote:

Feverfew Dandelion Seeds Alstroemeria

Uh-oh, looks like this wildflower wandered a little too far from her home lair (46740, Nerada), and now she's off to see the world! If ever you feel the need to exalt, she'd really appreciate it if you could just return her to the home lair, or to the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread, here. This is not necessary, but she would be very grateful!

Written by Nerada:

Wreathweaver was born in a beautiful jungle home, teeming with life and possibility. She is a silent but curious dragon, preferring to speak with her actions rather than words. Although her parents loved her deeply, she was certainly the oddball amongst her peers, and spontaneously growing flowers on anything she touched didn't exactly help. When she came of age, she and her parents took a trip together to the Windswept Plateau, and that was where she saw something that changed the trajectory of her life forever; a new breed of flower she had never laid eyes on before. Inspired and filled with newfound purpose, Wreathweaver asked for her parents' blessing before asking a nearby clan if she could study the region's flowers, promising to earn his keep by foraging and leaving when her research was done.

Time passed, and eventually, she inspected and documented all the flowers in the area, and took in an apprentice. Not one to settle down, however, she decided to march forward in search of new blossoms for her research, hoping to pass the knowledge on to future generations of flower enthusiasts.

Wreathweaver fit right in with the beauty of The Fount of Travelers in the Viridian Labyrinth with her greenery and flowers. No one seemed to mind her silence, nor her magical powers by growing flowers. In fact, no one seemed to notice much since there were thousands of flowers around anyway. It was such a pleasant place, and in fact, she spent so much time studying the new flowers that she found there, that she stayed quite a while. She felt so at home, she wouldn't mind returning here anytime. But there were more flowers to find!
Written by Nerada:

Wreathweaver found it difficult to leave the Viridian Labryinth behind. She had never fit in under the Gladekeeper's domain as a child, yet in the Fount of Travelers she was able to find an unlikely peace. It only became more difficult to depart when she had grown her finest little flowers yet: children of her own. However, fate had other plans for her when a mysterious strain of poisonous flowers began to bloom around the base of the Nerada clan's Opal Tower.

This threat to her former home was enough to push her to take wing back to the ever-moving Tower, and her nights became filled with studies upon studies of this mysterious flower. Everything from the stem, to the petals, to the pollen itself was dangerous to dragonkind, and even after many moons of study, she was only able to craft a small antidote. It is with an anxious heart that she leaves the Nerada clan in search of rarer, more potent flowers across Sorneith, in the hopes that some flower out there will have the healing properties that she needs.

Written by Strangeflesh:

Wreathweaver walked along the plaguelands, a place she thought that she would never go in her youth, but to her now, new perspectives were unfurling. Just like the growing flowers beneath, though they were not like the ones she knew. She wondered if these were poisonous too. She hoped not. As she made her way towards the next largest sentiment, hoping that she could make a quick stop to sell the poisonous plants. The people of plague like them right?

That was until she came across a strange shrine. A perfect cube with bars along each side, built from dark purple stone and yellowed glass, the crumbling structure drew her in. As she did the plants under her feet grew larger and larger, their color changing to that of the shrine. Dark thoughts began to swirl in her mind, those of hate, punishment, death, spiraling reality down into endlessly repeating moments.

A sound echoed louder and louder in her head
"49206372656174656420796F7520776F7274686C6573732070656F706C652C204920616D20746865207

But she kept walking, but luckily before she could touch the eldritch trap, she snapped out it. Nausea welled up in Wreathweaver's mouth. There was dark magic here, and with a tap of her foot she channel both her lightning and nature elements to destroy it. A great tree charged upwards through the shrine, destroying it in a burst of yellowed darkness. The amount of magic left her very drained and hungry, so she camped out as far away from where the shrine was as she could make it.

Wreathweaver has a feeling though, that whatever had created that thing was still around. And it could still see her.

Written by KingVulture:

Wreathweaver hadn't even left the Scarred Wasteland when she knew she had to settle down. She found a clan that bordered the Tangled Wood, and decided she'd stay there for some amount of time.

There was a surprisingly diverse amount of plant life in the area Crow Callers was - she found herself exploring the nearby forests alongside Helen, the clan's Nature rep. She figured it was a good way to take her mind off of what she previously encountered.

Wreathweaver even explored alongside Milo a few times, despite some warnings not to do so. At the very least, they were asked not to go too far, and to keep an eye on each other - luckily, the most that happened was that Milo had accidentally withered a few plants, and a tree branch fell down nearby. Neither of them were harmed.

Later on, Wreathweaver met a Gaoler known as Patrick. They found each other getting along almost immediately - she told him a lot about herself, but hesitated to tell him anything about the shrine. That wasn't important now. She destroyed it, right? So was it gone?

That night, she had a strange nightmare. Wreathweaver couldn't figure out what exactly was happening, but saw several elements of the shrine she destroyed - and bizarrely, several serpentine dragons.

She'd seen these serpentine dragons before, she thought; they only started venturing outside of the Behemoth fairly recently, but she'd heard of Auraboa before.

The next morning, Wreathweaver found a fairly sizable group of Auraboa - Lazarus, Ambrosia, Roche, Cebren, Abhainn, and Blitz - working on maintaining one of the clan's structures. She was slightly confused when she noticed that the hatchling, Blitz, was the one guiding them. She decided to ask them about the dream she had, and if they knew anything about the shrine she discovered. While mostly courteous, the Auraboa didn't know what she was referring to - Ambrosia mentioned that it reminded her of when she was connected to The Loop as a hatchling, but Wreathweaver wasn't sure it had anything to do with that. She was assured that sometimes, dreams just don't make sense - but she didn't quite know about that.

Confused, she continued to stay in the clan for a little while longer, wondering if she could get some closure on that strange dream. Then, Wreathweaver found that she had developed feelings for Patrick... and decided to stay because of that.

She left after her two hatchlings were born, due to worrying that the nightmares would come back - she knew she had to leave Plague territory.

Wreathweaver fled deep within the tangled grove, till she stumbled apon a small clan of dragons, who offered her a place to stay, at least for the time being. She slept for a night, then left shortly in the morning.

She fled back to a nice place she had previously visited to get a bit or rest and became fast friends with a young dragon, Caste, who followed her around like a puppy asking endless questions. He even brought her flowers, which amused her endlessly. She offered to help him start his travels and they planned their first trip together.

Wreathweaver and Caste first trip together is a forest. But, as they went far in the forest. They came across to a kingdom and she was excited their first trip was a forest kingdom. She had lots of ideas for Caste's first trip and it will be a surpise for him.

" Oh Caste look, your first trip is a kingdom how excited it will be. " she say to Caste.

Caste just smile back and turn to walk towards the small town. Wreathweaver saw some shops and cafe. She ask Caste to go in the cafe to bring her a drink. He went inside the cafe and she went into one of the shops. The shop that she went to is a food shop. She looks at the different foods and there are a lot of flesh foods here.

" Oh hello there, welcome to the food shop. We have the flesh foods here for sell. " said a female skydancer.

" Hello, I just looking at the foods and smells delicious. " said Wreathweaver.

“ Okay then, take your time looking around and if you need anything ask me. “ said the skydancer as she start to walk away.

“ Wait, I do need your help. Will you show me where to find the flowers ? she said to the skydancer. “ Sure, I know where to some flowers, but, I’m going to let you know that we have a flower shop here in the town. “ said the skydancer. “ Did you know where is the flower shop is ?” she said. “ Oh, you’re in luck….I’m the owner of the flower shop. Come, come follow me and I’ll take you there “ said the skydancer. “ Thank you “ she said as she followed the skydancer out of the food shop. When they arrived at the flower shop, she couldn't believe what she saw. There were million of flowers here and as a Gardner this is her dream. After a couple of hours, she went to the Inn and Caste brought her drink. Few days pass, it's time for her to go.
