Soft hands trail along cool marble, carefully chiselling away at the weather-worn stone. She carefully draws out the figure in the marble, staring at the smooth stone until the statue is all she can think of. 		xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
xxxxxxxxxxxxxx Aurel stands in the newly renovated artists studio, staring out into the rain. Despite her best efforts, her gaze drifts to the marble statue in the center of the room. It is beautiful. Too beautiful, she muses. Over the last few weeks after moving into the studio, she had found herself waking from faint dreams of the milk-white figure sitting next to her, gently whispering things that she can't seem to remember, but which leave her heart fluttering when she wakes.

Sometimes she talks to the statue, spilling her thoughts and ideas to its marble surface. Addresses it, as if it was as real and alive as herself. She finds herself idly chatting to it as she works, imagining what the statue might say if it could respond.

The thought of getting rid of the statue passes through her mind, but Aurel finds she has gotten used to its presence; its sunwarm stone keeping her company until she finally picks up her tools and begins to chisel away at the marble.
