Oscine

Oscine is a quiet, alarmingly calm dragon with an air of mystery around himself. He's often avoided by those who aren't used to his ominous presence, his sunburst bright eyes that followed every single movement. He was a being of stardust, with the remnants of dreams glittering on his green coated claws, bright stars lovingly wrapped into every scale and tooth. There were lingering songs stuck in his throat, crooning lullabies that had no language nor words, just a fleeting thought stolen from a memory that had long since faded into the unknown shadows of history.

There were nightmares streaked across his wings, nestled into every membrane and hiding in his unruly mane, armed with teeth and secrets.

The smell of dead planets and overheating stars clung to him always, somehow sharp and cold and yet burned into his very skin, clinging to him like a jealous lover, dripping in the decadence and dread of a place much colder and much more empty than anything had the right to be. Oscine was not of this world. He came from somewhere else, a place where souls were bared, hearts laid open like an unlocked diary, and skins flayed to leave the nerve endings vulnerable and bleeding.

Meeting his gaze could be considered a death sentence - or he could be your only hope of survival. Who could tell the intentions of a creature who's skin was more stone than flesh, more star than dragon?
