Biography

Ammolite (Am-mo-lite)*

"To chase the stars is to chase the Gods."

Telepathic Mage and Alchemist

Biromantic / Asexual

Has no mate

Ammolite had never stayed in one place for long. The road always beckoned him back out, always called his name and the journey would start all over again. He didn't really mind. Exploring had always been one of his passions. Of course, he moved often mainly due to his uncanny ability, the one that made others wary of him, chasing him away and telling him over and over again that he was an unnatural monster.

Why?

Ammolite was a telepath. Though, really, he tried hard not to read a strangers thoughts. A person's mind should stay private, he had no real need to go rooting through their head. Besides, he couldn't do any damage beyond distracting someone with intrusive thoughts and occasionally fading a memory.

Still, his telepathic abilities never stayed hidden, and he always ended up moving on, hurt and betrayed by those he had cared for. Soon, after countless times of being let down by mortals, Ammolite turned his gaze to the stars - to the Gods.

It was them that had given him this curse. They were responsible for ruining his life and for any chance he had at being happy. He wanted answers. He didn't care who he had to step on or destroy to find out why he had been born like this. What he wanted most of all....was justice. Ammolite no longer wanted his telepathy, he wanted to be just another fire mage. Just another alchemist who's only worry was stocking the supplies and making sure things didn't explode.

Ammolite wanted to be happy. Was that too much to ask of the Gods?
