Biography

He may be flashy in appearance, but Olympus' personality is anything but. Sure, his best friend Pan drags him to an endless array of parties and social gatherings, but Olympus can usually be found somewhere hiding in the corner, playing with other dragons' familiars. Oddly enough, he does actually enjoy being around other dragons in social situations, he just prefers to listen from the sidelines and abhors the spotlight. In that way, he's the polar opposite of Pan. Many outsiders often wonder at their friendship since their personalities are so diametrically opposed, but honestly, Olympus couldn't imagine his life without Pan in it. The charismatic Imperial was there for Olympus during a time when few others were, and like Pan, Olympus is also an orphan.

Growing up without a clan and without a family, Olympus was terrified of everything. The world was an unforgiving place... at least until he met Pan. Back then, Pan had none of the bravado he now embodies. Instead, the Imperial was just like him: downtrodden, frightened, alone. The two young orphans met in a busy market one day. Pan had succeeded in securing a loaf of bread, likely by nefarious means, but when he offered to share some with Olympus, the Coatl couldn't have cared less where it came from. That fateful meal was the first of many the two males shared together as they traveled the world. Sure, life was still difficult and at times things were downright bleak, but at least Olympus didn't have to go through it all alone anymore. Each of them gave the other hope and encouragement when they needed it most. They had one another's backs when no one else did, and that came to mean everything.

Now those harrowing days on the road seem like a distant memory. Olympus remembers the day they both walked in to Kageyama's tavern and felt instantly at home with the Xayxayx clan. Two males without a female to vouch for their entry into the clan, they offered to work odd jobs, hoping to prove their desire to join with their dedication to serve. To Olympus' surprise, it had worked. Gradually, they gained the clan members' trust and eventually, an offer to join. They both accepted instantly and haven't looked back since. Through it all, their friendship has remained as strong as ever.
