Biography

KERBEROS

// Gouged Carnage-Ichor //
Plague Runestone

Kerberos sought to kill the very moment he hatched. His power put him in a class above his fellow hatchlings, and he was often given extra effort by his teachers. Though this attention gave him an edge in controlling his powers, it quickly outgrew his ability to control it. It didn’t take much to set him off, and his episodes were explosive and lethal, little more than volatile power heedlessly tossed into everything and everyone around him. As he grew further into his powers however, he regained his fragile foothold on controlling it. Though he knew this control could easily slip, there was little he could do but try to direct the brunt of his rage on enemies or subordinates he could get away with killing.

Even though he now had decent control most of the time, he was plagued by short but disastrous periods of becoming even more of a feral beast than normal, knowing only the pleasure of blood in his maw and screams in his ears. Though this quirk proved useful in battle with lesser Ichor and enemies, he was indiscriminate in his wrath and bloodlust, often killing his own as well as enemies. After he killed a fellow Guardian, he realized just how much of a possible liability he could become to his brigade, and fled into the dark, damp night into a self-imposed exile. He ordered his underlings to say he defected or turned too crazy and ran away, to protect them and himself from the brunt of the warden’s predicted wrath. After this he hid himself away in the pit that would become Bloodblitz Arena.

He has since developed grudging respect for Xic, and has become somewhat familiar with Ashah and Pollux. But he will always miss his former life in his brigade.
