Vegasah

A lively, vivacious Fae, Vegasah's personality is as sparkly as the jewels he wears. He is the jeweler of the clan, taking the precious stones others find while digging or scavenging and turning them into works of art. Deft, nimble fingers work with delicate metals. The piece grows malleable beneath his fingers, curling as he handles it, etches appearing on its surface.

This is Vegasah's gift.

Even the dullest of stones shine when he is done with them. The Fae has a knack for bringing forth the inner beauty of any object he handles. Moonstones, chalcedony, jasper - he smooths rough edges and rounds the stones, setting them into waiting sockets. Sacridite, agate, and prehnite proudly display their natural patterns after his ministrations. Sapphires, rubies, almandine, and andesine gleam with faceted edges cut unbelievably sharp.

Vegasah himself is partial to green and purple stones, flamboyantly decorating himself with gemstones in the colours of his scales. However, he'll happily work with any material. He'll chatter away with any dragon who wanders into his shop, his words as quick as his fingers as he works the jewelry.

And for the hatchlings, he always keeps some costume jewelry around - pretty, sparkly pieces made of cut glass. Vegasah loves to watch their faces light up when he hands them a necklace or ring.

Despite the Fae's tiny size, he's happy to take on orders for any dragon - even ones so big as Guardians and Imperials! He loves to see the beauty of the gemstones reflected in the smiles on his customer's faces.

And no smile brings him more joy than that of his mate, Ilke. Vegasah pours all of his heart into every piece he makes for her, infusing it with his love. From simple jade earrings to the elaborate amethyst belt she wears - and even the sparkling, radiant gemstones which decorate her wings. She blushes and preens as he tells her that each time the gemstones sparkle, it is because he is thinking of how much he loves her.

His soulmate is exuberant in her praise for his work, and recognizes Vegasah as the master craftsman he is.
