Biography

This dragon belongs to FableSky (501496) and is a perma! Please return on December 3rd

The first sign that Vorikshas parents got that her egg had hatched was the unlocked door and empty pantry. Having taken two minutes to look round the lair (typical furniture, traditional fire decorations, blah blah blah, boring boring boring) & founding it wanting, she decided that it was time to hit the road.

Voriksha spent a fair bit of time hopping from place to place, using her cute looks and small size to either charm her way into stealing from other dragons, or just plain old sneaking in and nicking everything ( and I mean everything). By the time she'd reached adulthood she was already a master sneak and pickpocket, even if she was barely bigger than she had been when she'd popped out the shell.

It was when Voriksha reached the Starfall Isles, and a small clan hidden away underneath the canopy, that she first thought of maybe settling down. The buildings in the villgae filled the spaces between the massive tree trunks, making mazes of wood and stone, and suddenly opening up into wide parks and market filled avenues. Voriksha, for the first time, felt like she might be home.

Of course she couldn't let anyone know that. Especially not the dragons which already lived here.

It started out normally enough, Voriksha would continue to nick the odd thing here and there, and of course she would still raid any pantry that someone was foolsih enough to leave open. She hadn't changed completely. But more and more she found herself simply hanging out with the other residents, talking to them about the magic they were studying or sharing pints at the inn. It was an odd feeling. She wasn't used to knowing more than a handful of dragons at a time, let alone a handful of friends. And where once she would have run as soon as she started to feel herself settle somewhere this time she just... let it happen. So by the time that Narabi offered her the bartender job at the inn, it was the easiest thing in the world to agree.
