Often visited by visions of past, present, and future. Gentle and soft-spoken, but stern. Impatient in the best of times, he has little tolerance for those that would waste his time. The definition of 'waste his time' varies wildly on an hourly basis, often starting at a 'Hello' in the corridors. Often tired, and would rather just sleep in the sun all day. Despite Hyperion's insistent that his visions are gifts from Lightweaver, Yugen doesn't believe that the dragons' gods exist, at least in the way most dragons believe them to. With Lightweaver being gone since long before his birth, there doesn't exist much that could change his mind. Yugen usually pays little mind to his visions - they seem like an unimportant detail to him. When his visions are brought up, he always insists that his life is his own to live, chosen by 'Lightweaver' or not.
