Biography

Ianna is intelligent, steadfast, and even older than Venatici. Their pasts are intertwined - they used to be romantic partners, before he stole her leadership position in the coven and forced her to live alone. Despite her seniority, Venatici was (and still is) much stronger than her, and he also had the coven's loyalty due to his pacifistic principles. She lives her life bitter and wanting. She spent most of her early days as a vampire going on rampages - pillaging settlements, feeding off mortals, etc. - and, around a century into her life, decided to start her own coven. It largely consisted of her own fledglings, also Reapers, but a few other species joined her tirade. Venatici was among the outsiders, and slowly brought in more of his own fledglings, so that the vampires that wanted to follow him would outnumber those that wanted to follow Ianna. After several decades of waiting, his plan unfolded, and she was forced out. She's still in the midst of forming her own revenge plan... she just needs to work out all 5,678 kinks. It's not like she doesn't have the rest of eternity to do it, though. Ianna - despite her lack of muscle - is terrifying. She has rows upon rows of sharp fangs, weaponry over every inch of her body, and wears heavy armour. Despite the fact that she needs to feed less often than other breeds, she indulges herself regularly. She's a ruthless and brutal fighter who relies on menacing stares and dirty attacks, and her lack of fear and inhibition makes her a formidable opponent. There has hardly been a day where Ianna has been kind, thoughtful, or compassionate. Even during romantic pursuits, she is cold and aggressive, insisting on taking the lead in everything she does. Some vampires have described her as "smug" and "mean," but she would rather refer to herself as confident and fair. Her close relationships include: Venatici (ex-partner). |
