Jokester use to be a normal hatchling like the others, but despite that she was bullied. Hatchlings picked on her, and made fun of her for her eyes. Her eye-whites were black, with a bright purple iris. They hated her for that. One day, they took it too far. They broke some bones in her body, and made deep gashes in her scales. The injuries were fatal, causing her to pass away. She wandered the halls of the Red River Kingdom, until a dragon changed her fate.

....A giggle sounded out, freaking out near dragons. One looked down the dark hall, seeing two bright, pink eyes. They screamed, running off. The one who giggled whimpered, stepping out. A young spiral, who looks about a day old, entered the lit room. A dragon who stayed, not fearing the eyes, looked at her.
...."Hello, what is your name?" murmured the dragon, bending down. The spiral tilted their head, looking confused. "I don't...have one?" she questioned, looking up.
....the dragon smiled sadly before asking, "would you mind me giving you one." The spiral nodded excitedly. Looking at the dragon expectantly. The dragon hummed before asking, "how about Corrnal?" The spiral shook her head, not liking the name.
....After an hour, the dragon finally decided on a name. "How about Jokester then?" she asked, and the spiral nodded happily. She stood up straight and told Jokester to follow her.
....An hour later, they finally arrived. It was a carnival, with a big tent in the middle. The place was gloomy, but the dragons inside were happy. Some tents were destroyed, and some buildings were crumbling. Jokester looked up, noting how they acted.
...."This is the Dark Carnival, known for the ghostly presence of dragons who have died or went insane," the dragon explained.
...."Which one are you?" Jokester asked, looking up at the dragon. "My name is Selena, a jester who entertains the lost kids who can't go home," Selena smiled softly. Guiding the spiral to her tent, Selena made sure she was at home. She explained the rules, and what to expect from this place.
...."Also, do not enter the tent without me, okay?" Selena said sternly, looking at Jokester. Jokester nodded, and Selena sighed.
...."I'll be in the tent on the right, if you ever need me I'm there," Selena softly stated, before heading over to the entrance. "Do you need anything else?" she asked, looking behind her. "No, ma'am, thank you," Jokester murmured, still in awe.
....Selena walked out, leaving Jokester to explore. She exited, looking to make more friends. When she was walking, she accidentally bumped into something. Looking up, she noted that she bumped into the tent.
