Biography
Shade exorcist
Occultist
Winter was born during an elemental holiday. A time when magic rippled through the air unbound and untethered.
Sometimes that sorcery finds a tether. Something to latch onto. Something to grant it a foundation for it's power. Winter came into the world under icy egg shell chips and a glow about her. A horrible storm had been raging outside when she was born. The moment she blinked open her sightless eyes....the storm stopped and no more snow fell for the rest of the month. At time everyone thought it was a coincidence and she became a ward of the lair after her parents disappeared.
When she was only a child the Fire Ballad headquarters had been attacked by a monster of the Shade. Winter, no bigger than a house-cat at the time, opened her icy orbs and a glow emitted; there was a harsh shriek and then...nothing.
The Shade had been horribly weakened, so weak that it was killed instantly and it was because of something Winter did.
Winter was capable of destroying the Dreaded Shade.
From then on the little fae was put under constant surveillance. Her powers only grew along with the odd but incredible ability to control the elements around her. Whether it's fire, wind, lightning, or even dust; Winter can manipulate it how she pleases. Though she seems to prefer ice as her own elemental birth corresponds with it. Frostbite was assigned to watch over her and the two grew as close as sisters. Winter, though naive to the world because of her upbringing, was ready and willing to follow Frostbite away from the Fire Ballad when it was clear corruption ran through like a rampant poison. The two females barely escaped into the unforgiving tundra and would have perished had it not been for Winter keeping them alive thanks to their powers.
It was Lunah who found them and invited them to Sodansa's lair.
Frostbite may have reservations about their new home but Winter is content to start a new leaf. Her blindness is hardly treated as a nuisance and there are plenty of nice dragons to befriend.
