Job Description

The ambusher of the pack, it is Chryso that selects the place difficult prey shall be driven to and calculates how to use the broken terrain of the Shifting Expanse to best advantage. There are many creatures that have the strength, endurance or natural capabilities to render a prolonged chase inefficient, even for runners like Mirrors. A sudden lunge from a ravine's crossing or terrifying plunge from sheer mesa walls can bring such hunts to an abrupt and successful end. At other times Chryso's role is merely to shock and frighten a group of prey to shatter their herd and allow his packmates to more easily isolate their target.

If he isn't laying a trap (and also when he is) Chryso's speciality is in poisons. It takes practice to know what can be used to weaken prey without tainting the meat and even more to know what can endure on teeth or claws before the final attack. While he has poisoned himself multiple times and his mate once or twice, he now has a good idea of what will work without envenoming the Mirror coating their natural weapons.
