Biography

Uh-oh, looks like this peaceful fur-ball wandered a little too far from their home lair (apocalyove,517582), and now they're off to see the world! If ever you feel the need to exalt, they'd really appreciate it if you could just return them to their home lair, or to the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread, here. This is not necessary, but they would be very grateful!

Alligatorsight 118679 - Alligator Clan
Storm and their twin brother, Luan, are travelers strictly sworn to pacifism and peace. They left their home after a bloody battle that caused the death of their dear friend, Void. Storm was devastated, and chose to only fight another dragon if absolutely necessary. They want to make peace with Void's death and move on in their life while their away from home, maybe even make new friends and find a new home!

For their first stop on their trek across the globe the twins went to the Spiral Keep in the Sea of a Thousand Currents. It was not an easy journey but that only made it more rewarding when they finally made it.
Tired from their journey they found a kind clan to rest up in until they were ready continue their adventure.

They then found their way into the Tangled Wood, stopping at the Driftwood Drag where they found a clan that welcomed them with open wings. A rather large portion of the lair seemed to be under construction. Storm's brother, Luan, pointed out that there were two rather large caves carved into a large wall of rock. A Ridgeback and a Guardian poked their heads out of one cave and watched the twins curiously, and two Bogsneaks were sleeping in the other. Two Gaolers were working on more lairs and reshaping at least half of the lair. The black and blue Gaoler saw Storm and waved at them. Storm waved back a bit nervously. The blue Gaoler turned her head to the other Gaoler, a brown male, who nodded and walked to an elaborate-looking pile of boulders. One large, flat boulder jutted out over two others, forming both a cave underneath and a place to rest on top. Sitting on top of the structure was a black mirror dragon with purple wings. "Nightshade! There's two dragons that just arrived!" the brown Gaoler called up to him. He climbed down gracefully, walking up to Luan and Storm. "Welcome to the Tangled Wood," the mirror dragon said, "My name is Nightshade. I lead this clan. What brings you two here?" Not far away, a pale blue Skydancer and a darker blue Tundra looked up curiously. "We left our home after a horrible battle," Luan explained, shuddering slightly at the memory. Storm suppressed a whimper. It still hurt to think about."Oh, dear," Nightshade said. "I rather hate fighting myself. That's part of the reason I never fit in with the other Mirror dragons- I never liked the fast paced, always-ready-for-fighting lifestyle. So, I wandered on my own for a bit and, well, here I am," he explained, spreading his wings and gesturing at the clearing. Storm smiled at him. Finally, another pacifist! Someone who shared their values! "We hate fighting too," they said rather proudly. "We want to help teach dragons there's a better way." Nightshade smiled at the twins. "I don't think you'll need to teach dragons here, but you're welcome to stay a while," the leader told them, "I think you'll like it here."
The twins nodded gratefully, happy to find a place to stay for a while. Two young Gaolers came to them that night, asking a bunch of questions about where they were from. There was a bit of sadness in their voices, so Luan asked about it. "Our sister Eve went to explore Sornieth earlier," the dragon with the bright purple mane explained. "It's a bit quiet without her singing and shouting about exploring." The twins looked at each other. "We'll keep you company, if you feel lonely," Storm offered. The sisters perked up, nodding. Storm smiled, happy to have made some friends. For the rest of their stay, they kept the two young dragons company, and in turn they told the twins about the Tangled Wood and their clan.

Next the two's journey took them up to where the wind is always blowing, the Windswept Plateau. There they found a fairly peaceable Clan, however there were warriors and warriors-in-training, but those were mainly for protection. The Clan was a very friendly one, and Luan and Storm felt at home there. But of course they had to move on. The world needed to know this message they had.
The two soon found themselves back in the Tangled Wood, where they encountered a strange Gloomwillow holding a packet of cards. Intrigued, they followed the little creature through a complex maze, landing themselves in a clan of noisy dragons hiding in a secluded area. They signed in as guests, before settling down for a while.

Storm discovered another pacifist in the lair, named Nightscreech. Well, a sort of "pacifist". He certainly uses force when necessary, but his actions at least seem honorable enough that Storm felt comfortable sharing their wisdom with him. Nightscreech surprised them by saying that he was impressed with their actions, claiming there just weren't enough dragons in the world who took their approach.

The brothers spent a few days here, just to see if they needed to spread their philosophy. But they didn't. In spite of the battlers, the dragons knew their limits and only battled to gain food and resources for the clan. These dragons were quite happy and, despite their rambunctious behavior, peaceful. The two decided it was time to continue their journey, but they would remember their new found friends.

They soon found their way to the Windswept Plateau once again, where they met a fairly peaceful Clan. After being greeted by their healer-in-training Flick, he offered to teach them how to use natural resources as medicine in case they were injured on their travels, which the two gladly accepted.
In their stay here, they found that the Windflight Clan (when learning of the Clan's name, their former leader apologized as it was all he could think of at the moment) did have warriors, but they usually spent their time hunting and protecting the Clan's borders. Also did they learn that the Clan was unfortunately preparing for 'the final battle', as they called it, and the brothers made it their duty to speak to the Clan's leader to try a more peaceful solution.

The Windflight Clan, as they realized, was actually lead by six dragons, although it was only two that they needed to speak to - Nils and Neptune, father and son and head of strategy and war respectively. The travelers, who heard of the Clan's situation, begged Nils not to kill anyone if they didn't have to, and to their surprise, the Spiral nodded.
"I don't want any trouble as much as you two don't," Nils had said. "I want nothing more than a peaceful solution to everything, but the others think otherwise."
"We can help, then." Storm told him. "We can help ensure peace for everyone."
"But what if your enemy is a three-headed dragon who's lost his mind?" Neptune challenged. "What would you do then?"
"No dragon is pure monster. There must be a reasonable head within this... monster you speak of." Luan added.
"That's what I've been trying to tell them," Nils sighed. "The other leaders, that is. But I'm also scared that being a pacifist will lead to us being destroyed."
"Let's stick around, then. We could really be of some use here." Storm said at last, and Nils, the blue Spiral, nodded in agreement.

On their second day in Windflight Clan, the brothers were again greeted by Nils. "Hello, you two. Glad to see you're doing well. Turns out we may be able to find a peaceful solution to stopping our threat."
"Oh, good," said Storm.
"But we need to convince the other Clan we're working with to go along with it, if it works. Perhaps we could send you on your way and pass the message on?"
"That sounds good," Luan added, and the brothers were soon on their way.

COPIED FROM LUAN'S BIO

As Storm and Luan made there way to their next stop, this time they headed into the dunes of Shifting Expanse. Their stop was a Lightning Flight clan located near the Tempest Spire. The clan had a lot of construction going on. There was one castle which was once the Clan's capitol but had been nearly destroyed in a battle, Rather than restore the old castle, the clan decided to turn it into a museum. There was even a tower dedicated to Wind Flight Clan, the clan which they had just come from. Beside the Wind Flight tower stood a statue of a spiral. As the two approached the statue, the statue lightning stuck the statue and the statue came to life.

"Greetings travelers" said the spiral "I am Haven, step daughter of Alpha Female HeavenLee what brings you here?" The spiral had Wind eyes and seemed very protective in her tone. "We are travelers" said Luan "From Wind Flight Clan" Storm added. Some how the two felt like they were still in Wind Flight Clan. "I will have to see your pass ports" retorted Haven. After the spiral saw their travelers log, the spiral saw that they had just come from Wind Flight Clan. "So you just came from Wind Flight Clan?" the spiral asked "That is where I was born." "So you were once a traveler too?" asked Storm. "Well, Apoc is my dad. I was named after HeavenLee and always wanted to live here and one day the opportunity came. I was given residency when I came here, so I never needed a passport." "Nils sent us. He said you were in the process of making peace with a clan you were at war with and we thing we can help."

Just to the north was another castle which was to become the new capitol when finished. Both projects were near complete. Haven escorted the two dragon pass the new castle and to an arc shape building that had a lightning rod on top. "This is the Lightning Flight Embassy where our visitors stay. Storm, you will be staying in suite 7, Luan, you will be staying in suite 8 next door. Welcome to Alligator Clan."

In the Lightnign Flight Embassy, the two met a female Ridgeback named Adelind who like Haven was native to Wind Flight Clan. She informed the two that she was not planning on staying in Alligator Clan forever because it reminded her too much of Wind Flight Clan, but was stayed to help the clan in a rescue mission to free dragons Hydra Clan had kept in prison.

The next day, The two got to meet with Alpha Female HeavenLee, a female guardian with black scales and fine clothing and jewelry. "So you two were sent by Nils?" the guardian asked. "Yes" retorted Luan. "We are here to help you make peace with Hydra Clan" Storm added. "Hydra Clan" HeavenLee chuckled. The guardian pulled out a pyramid shape object and Called."Misty I need you to come to the Lightning Flight Embassy we have more allies." "I will be right there" the voice came through the object then HeavenLee put the object away. A few minutes later, a green camouflaged nocturne showed up. "Luan and Storm this is Misty, leader of Hydra Clan" the guardian intoduced. "But we thought the leader of Hydra Clan was a three headed dragon." said Storm. "You must be talking about Gri" retorted Misty. "Gri was named after the three heads that he has. He has the head of a guardian, ridgeback and imperial. The shade created him. He was once three different dragons, but the shade used some kind of spell which caused him to morph into what we call an unnatural abomination. As long as he is this three headed dragon, there will be no peace. We must break the spell and turn him back into three dragons or kill him. Once he becomes three dragons again, they will be powerless and I will claim my rightful place as leader of Hydra Clan and make peace with Alligator Clan and WindFlight Clan."
