Some dragons just have their head in the clouds... except Percival has his head in the stars most of the time. From a young age Percival has been obsessed with space. The stars, the moons, the suns, the planets, the galaxies and everything in between fascinated him!


But, sometimes when you keep looking up, you forget to look around you You forget what can sometimes be more important than anything else. Parents, Brothers, Sisters, Cousins, Friends. Percival was so busy looking up that by the time he looked back down everything had changed.

Percival is the eldest of 4 (Three brothers and one sister). His family had always been close when he was growing up, and his parents had always encouraged each of them to chase their dreams and fulfil their deepest wishes! And with that all four of them took off and followed their own paths across Sornieth.

For a while, they all stayed in touch. Every week Percival would receive a letter from at least one of his siblings. Mostly from his brother IceStorm, who chose to stay behind and chase his dreams at home. Sometimes from his little brother Fhadove, although those soon stopped. And occasionally from his little sister Cavador who was busy exploring the Shattered Plain of Dragonhome.

But after a while each letter stopped. It took Percival a very long time to see this. He was so caught up in the euphoria of chasing the stars above him, he forgot about everyone around him. When he realised he sent letters out to each member of his family enquiring about where they could possibly be! He waited for weeks for a response from any of them and with each day he felt his worries grow! Eventually he received a single letter back. IceStorm was always the best writer out of all his siblings and his letters were always a pleasure to read, but this letter just brought hollow misery.

Percival's youngest brother, Fhadove had vanished moths ago and Cadaver was up to her wings in work! IceStorm explained that he was surprised he got a letter in the first place, as Percival was the first sibling to stop writing altogether! Percival was saddened and perplexed that he had brought sadness to his siblings. He asked his mate Mitte what he could possibly do! She thought for a while, before proposing an idea. What if they all met once a month! That way even if they forget to write letters they can still see each other!

Percival sent a letter to his other siblings proposing the idea, and soon a plan was set in motion. Whilst Percival might still have his head in the stars most of the time, Mitte is very good at bringing him back down to Sornieth. She reminds him to write his letters and she keeps track of when his family meetings are. Percival has never been happier and he thanks Mitte every day for how much she has helped him! Now he can still follow his dreams and he knows in his heart that he will never forget his family's love ever again.
