Where it all began.

______ Two Shadow born dragons fled the Tangled Woods together, seeking out a life of adventure. Wanting to know more of the world drove them to explore it. Together they learnt many things, always relying on eachother for everything. Clarity and Vanitas. Two shadow-born dragons driven to the wildness of the The Viridian Labyrinth. There they felt at home, easily blending into the trees and tufts of floral. Clarity declared it their home, and there they spent their days, raising a family and starting something amazing . . .

Things got quite busy quite fast. With the hustle and bustle of baby dragons, no day was like another. Clarity was a wonderful mother, very caring and tentative to everyone's needs. She, however, grew tired after awhile, due to a sickness for which they knew no cure. Being in lands still so unfamiliar to them, Vanitas flew off to find a dragon with knowledge of the sickness...and hopefully ,knowledge of a cure.
Days passed and with no signs of her lover. Clarity grew worried. Her hatchlings tried their best to cheer up their mother, but to no avail. She had almost lost hope. . .

Suddenly during a very humid day, two shadows flew over the blossoming trees and landed before her.
It was Vanitas, and another dragon, a very butterfly-esque fae.
She was talking quickly, her voice very light and fluttery, and Clarity was astonished to see that this fae was just a child !
The Fae introduced herself as ‘Autumn’, and despite her very confident manner...Clarity had her doubts,due to her age that she would not be able to cure her.

"Don't worry, I can handle this,"
Was a phrase Autumn often said during the few weeks she was there. She was fearless when it came to the sight of blood, or boils..or the occasional breakouts. Those little hatchlings still hadn't learned to stay away from that one dangerous plant...what was it called? Ah, yes..poison ivy.
Clarity grew accustomed to having Autum around. After the youngin’ had spent three days brewing potions and mixing together creams, she found the cure to Clarity’s illness. Not Wihout a few tummy ache’s on Clarity’s part...she didn’t quite take some of the ingredients down well. Though now fully healed and capable of herself,having someone else to care for and watch the children was a ton of help. So on the day Autumn announced she had to depart back home, more than one dragon was a little bit frowny.

Autumn was a talker. Anything and everything that peaked her interest (which was a lot of stuff) could get her talking for hours. So when dragons randomly started showing up, offering to help watch hatchlings or to teach them the ways of the forest, Clarity suspected it was Autumn’s doing.
What with her countless hours complaining that she had too much on her paws, and not enough time in a day to do it...it was only natural to think maybe she needed..or wanted...some help.
Dragons from all over the world came to visit, some travelers that were looking for homes. Some merchants and eldery dragons that were once just on their own joined up and shared their techniques with the others. It was really beginning to look like things were changing for the better. Two shadow-born dragons, leaving with nothing and ending up with so much.Things stayed like this for awhile, dragons coming in, dragons going out. Most stayed and helped out where they could, digging and building lairs and underground workshops. And some left, Leaving good word of the place wherever they ended up next.

Clarity had always been looked up to as a leader, despite not ever wanting to be one. She declared that this was a free place, to practice whatever you wanted to do, or be...whatever you wanted to be. You could leave at will, or stay as long as you'd like. She never thought the words of a small fae so long ago would make something as great as this was.
A home, a clan. A sanctuary by the name of 'Wings of the Faiyth.'
