Where it all began.



______ He was by Clarity's Side almost always. From the moment they left the Tangled Woods up until now, He was with her....

Vanitas was a very selfless dragon, when It came to the people he loved. He wasn't afraid to give up his own well being if it meant that he could save someone else, or make them more comfortable. Despite all this deep down, in the eyes of a stranger he was very cold and hard to deal with. It took a long time for him to come to love Clarity, and if he hadn't he never would have left with her. And She wouldn't have made it alone...

When they were children, Vanitas' parents were both Slaughtered by members of the "Black Order" a band of Plague Dwellers who found it upon themselves to try and take over towns.His parents were leaders, who refused to step down..and in turn they lost their lives. He became cold after this, wanting revenge. Clarity was a bubbly kid, even when the village was overrun and taken over, she stayed positive. This drove Vanitas to no end, he couldn't believe that she would be so calm about things going on. She would always tell him 'The darker things get, the brighter the light is when it comes' and he spat it off as nonsense.
