_____Head proprietor, hostess, and dancer of The Butterfly's Dance, a drab bed and breakfast with a lousy location that struggles to drum up customers. She's an industrious, graceful, if less than honest woman. After years of struggling financially, she asks less questions of her guests.

Given a better location, possibly somewhere in the
Great Furnace with its sultry volcanic locale and
wealthier, more educated neighborhoods, the
Butterfly's Dance would likely have blossomed into
a well-respected establishment. Lise herself is a
gracious, but firm hostess and a soulful, flowing
dancer, all traits for success for a clientele that can
appreciate it.

As a Zephyr Steppes girl, she should be truly out of
her element in the Waste, but for Heath, she's a lily
that can grow anywhere. When first moving to
Emberglow, Heath taught her some basic fire
attacks for self-defense. Being an entertainer first
and foremost, she has subdued the fire with her
deep understanding of wind magic into dazzling
balls she can toss and scatter for some of her most
unique and flamboyant performances.

For now, Lise allows Sand to run his magic shop out
of the inn. Their relationship is mutually beneficial.
His magic artifacts provide exotic decor for her
walls, and her gallery displays place his goods in
front of more eyes. Besides, it's always nice to have
a pharmacist on-hand, and taverns are an endless
stream of work for cough drop makers and fly
ointment mixers.
