"They call her the demon.
It is said that it may be a shortened version of her name, or maybe just a tall tale. All that have seen her remember a flash of color, and then she is gone. As soon as she comes, she disappears. And what is valuable? Gone, just like that."
The eccentric Wildclaw absentmindedly strummed out dramatic chords to back his words, almost amused with the tale.
"Stop trying to scare them, Morris," a Snapper chided, sighing. "It's quiet enough here, the last thing we need is some of my guests being frightened away. It is just a tale."
A claw tapped, sounding as if it came from near the door.
"Very funny. Are you done with your little tricks now?"

"T'wasn't my claw, my toe-tapping is only for dancing! You know that, Seastar. You know me." He did a small jig to demonstrate, and a few more taps from outside replied.

He saw a flash of color, and after the moment, his hat was gone.

Desdemona shook her head, grumbling. "Did you have to make me a local legend of sorts? I was trying to keep low."
"You know you love it, Dessie. Besides, you make a fantastic legend. Not to mention snatching my heart.~"
