Uh-oh, looks like this starry ghost wandered a little too far from his home lair (522830, quester), and now he's off to see the world! If ever you feel the need to exalt, he'd really appreciate it if you could just return him to the home lair, or to the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread, here. The first clan that Reanne stopped in was Crow Callers. Due to it being a clan that bordered both Plague and Shadow territory, he thought it was fairly suitable for him. Reanne didn't want to stay for very long, however. After a few coliseum battles with travelers and clan members alike, Reanne decided to head off - but he was given a souvenir of his time spent in Crow Callers, and it was a necklace made of bird skulls. Reanne thought it was a little odd, but definitely appreciated it.

It would be remiss for Reanne to totally dismiss the training of the Crow Callers. The fighting techniques that they imparted him with got him out of a few sticky situations with beasts and ill-meaning dragons as he scrapped his way to the Arcanist's lands, eventually making his way to Clan Mavenlark. He welcomed their offer of food and rest for a bit, but found the road calling him once more - this clan was far too tame and orderly for his liking, even though it was a city.

A long way from home, what was he even doing here this far south? The wind was frigid as the frozen landscape aided in giving the wind its icy bite. It was so cold he could hardly feel his wings any more, he needed to find shelter and warm up soon or he'd die out here. Ahead he saw lights in the distance a stronghold that sat at the very foot of the Ice Warden's fortress. Though it was the last place he wanted to be any where in the vicinity of, maybe he could find shelter at that stronghold, he just had to make it that far. It felt like miles even though it wasn't anywhere near that great of a distance, a quarter of a mile at best,, Once e reached the gates he had already been spotted from the watch tower. Large Gaoler met him at the entrance and got him inside to where it was warm. After resting for a bit, one of the Gaoler would return with a Wildclaw named Zexus and they began to ask him all sorts of questions, where he had come from, what he was doing out here, it wasn't an interrogation at least it didn't feel like it was. After speaking with Zexus he was given a small den to use during his stay, The clan was accustomed to travelers as long as they were not problematic, Tonight he would rest but this clan was huge there were a lot of dragons to be introduced to here, he's be lucky to remember the names of half of them. Reanne stayed for a while and as he was about to depart a female Gaoler named Bow told him she would accompany him to make sure he made it through the frozen landscape safely.

Bow and Reanne travelled for what seemed like days before before stopping at a small inn. The innkeeper explained that they weren't too far from the border of the Southern Ice Fields and within about a day they would find themselves out of the snow! Bow seemed quiet but after a short conversation with the innkeepers mate she seemed to perk up a bit. The innkeeper, a mirror named Frostbite offered to train with Reanne for a bit to help him hone the skills the Crow Callers had taught him. After some rest and a bit of training, Reanne felt much stronger and decided that he and Bow should leave the inn. With their combined knowledge and shared information he knew that the two of them would be able to find their way out of the Southern Ice Field, and continue on their journeys across Sornieth.
