Biography
Ginni
The Ever-weeping, Restless Shadow
Friend?: Previous Mate: Familiar: Hoarding: |
After nesting, the Shade came for her. She sought out light; shelter. However, sanctuary did not come in time for her clutch, and she was seperated from her mate. Ginni dare not utter the names of the lost hatchlings, wary of what the Shade may next have in store for her. Struck with grief, she flew far from the Tangled Wood, straying into the Southern Icefield, and eventually - The Fortress of Ends. Swallowing her anxiety, she continued on, trying not to think of what the Icewarden did with the shade-touched ... he did not descriminate, whether hatchling or fully grown. The imperial knew that much as fact. However strong her worries, she did not rest, until she came across a peculiar lair, haphazardly strewn across the ice, and yet... built as if it were a Lightning clan? Figuring Ginni was merely imagining it - as she had not stopped to rest for what felt like many moons, she travelled on, only to be stopped by a mysterious, holographic skydancer that may or may not have truly been there. "You are not authorized to pass," she says. "You are not meant to be here." "But-" "Cease. You are needed elsewhere." Then.. the darkness truly came. Something truly more frightening than what she imagined the Shade to be - pure, utter darkness. Nothing at all. ... However, Ginni wakes. The imperial assumes the time she spent unconscious to be many a moon, as her new surroundings were definitely more like home. And yet, she can't shake the feeling that something had gone severely awry. She had been encased in light. The Lightweaver's wrath was not kind to Her creation, despite being borne of a sister diety. While she spent her time worrying about the Shade, the true danger went unseen. Ginni tries to stand as she comes to, but ultimately fails. Hoping this wasn't the end of her travels, she merely sulks in what seemed to be a Shadow-flight based bed. "Oh, how wonderful!" comes a voice, all too familiar. The Skydancer. "You've come to. This is a better home for you... Psychedelica." |
