The crimson warlord

I N F O R M A T I O N

Once many years ago, the dragons were formed in the third age.
The first of them were called the ancients.
The ancients bred and their lairs grew to be bustling hubs of dragon kind.
But over the years amid wars and sicknesses
many of the ancients drifted of into stories and then into legends.
Few of them remain left. Thorn is one of those few.
He and his lair of dragons kept hidden away
in the depths of the scarred wasteland kept
very little contact with the dragons of other lairs. Until now.
Thorn's lair is beginning to thrive,
he and his mate, ruby have become the parents of one of the plagues oldest lairs.

B I O G R A P H Y

" I awoke into this world with no memories. It's not a bad way to wake up, you have no worries no obligations nothing to mourn. But you have nothing to love either. When we wake up sometimes we look forward to the upcoming day and sometimes we dread it. But would the pleasures be as great if there was no sorrow? Would we enjoy our breaks nearly as much if we didn't have any work? So while having no memories is not a bad way to wake up, I did not enjoy it either.
I opened my eyes with no expectations. And because I had no concept of what the world should be, I was not surprised at the sight that greeted me. I was surrounded by what looked like membrane. It was red and when I reached out to touch it, it was smooth and slightly slimy. When I pushed out it gave away with very little resistance. It was like pushing through slightly melted butter.
As my head poked out into the world the first thing that struck me was the smell, it felt loving and familiar, like the smell of rotten meat. The next thing was what I saw. She was a dragon like none I would ever see again. She looked at me lovingly like a mother with her child. And in a way I was her child.
She had spawned me out of the rot and festering dirt into this amazing world.
She helped me out the rest of the way. Although I was a fully grown dragon she still towered over me.
She raised me to love the rot. While so many on the outside only see death within this land, she showed me that it was, in fact just another form of life. While plants died other things grew in there place. Wonderful things, beautiful things.
Although I was fully grown in body my mind was that of a hatchling and she took care of me until I had matured into a strong independent dragon.
At that point I left It was a heart wrenching moment for both of us, but I couldn't stay with her forever. So I left to start my own lair. After many moons had passed I found the perfect place. It was a valley hidden from the surrounding area with high cliff faces and mountains on many sides. Here it was that I decided to set my tent and start a lair of my own.
After I had been here for several days, I returned from a hunting trip to see an orange fea sitting in my camp. She told me she was called Rubie and she was the most beautiful dragon I had ever seen. After we had talked for a while I invited her to stay for the night and rest before continuing her travels. And we talked all of the next day and the same process kept happening until she had sort of moved in. She became my Queen and we have been together ever since.
Several years past before she found a light egg near to death at the base of one of the mountains. Without a second thought we took it in as our own and hatched into a Small purple dragon that we called Orchard. Who, when he grew up joined us and assisted us in leading our lair.
Since those days many years have passed and many dragons have come and gone. And our lair has expanded into a bustling metropolis of dragon kind.
