Amberstone

"Who's there?" Amberstone peeks around the corner. "Oh, it's just you." She snorts. "We've been expecting you."

"Y-you have?" You stutter nervously. Normally you're a human, but staring down at your body, you are now an Imperial! An assortment of colors flash through your scales.

"Of course!" Amberstone tilts her head. "I'm one of the Almighty Mentors, but you'll get to meet the others soon enough. Be careful around Sapphire; She gets grumpy." Amberstone warns, sounding as stoic as ever.

A soft purr can be heard radiating from behind Amberstone. Amberstone glances around and nudges her familiar out from behind her, a Runescar Lynx. "You're alright, Heatstrike." She assures the nervous creature.

"Where are you from? Who are your parents?" You blurt out, dying with curiosity.

Unless you're seeing things, Amberstone stands up a bit straighter. "Oh, I'm Nightcloud and Darkclaw's daughter! They were the dragons to create what we have now." She looks around fondly as dragons shift tiredly in the early morning light. "I was elected as one of the Almighty Mentors, along with my four other friends! We were trained by the Wise Ones; you'll meet them too."

You're beginning to get excited; if this is your new clan, so far what you've heard has been great! You glance at a smaller group of dragons hanging beside the entrance of the clan's camp, or what you suppose is the entrance.

"Who are they?" You inquire, staring at Amberstone.

Her gaze darkens, only for a moment. Then she responds, "Those are 'The Lost'. They won't be here for much longer. Some of them will probably be leaving any day now. Let's get you to meet the others." Her voice is more crisp, and you felt a stab of guilt before following her.
