Biography

INORAN | CONNECTION
Pronounced In-or-an

Tarnished Chain Brilliant Brass Torc Volt Wiring Ornamental Sash
---
The Last Pillar
---

If you've ever felt a connection to someone, you've felt the power of Inoran.

The last of the Pillars, Inoran is often the least recognized. Why would it, when the only thing the Pillars think it's useful for is maintaining a following? That is, after all, one of the primary jobs of Inoran. It ensures that each entity holds onto its following so that they may spread their influence and power. Yes, these followers came into existence with Rae, but they didn't have anything tangible to tie them to an entity. With Inoran's power, they did. Some may call those followers a family. To say that Inoran solely governs the inner workings of family would be a mistake.

There are many types of bonds between beings, and that is from where Inoran draws most of its power. There are platonic and romantic soulmate bonds. There are the bonds shared between two very close friends. There are the bonds shared by family.

Of course, bonds can be broken. Before the New Guard (see Zeyliv), Inoran was able to break bonds whenever it wished. This is how Zeyliv was never able to gain a following (a family, as some may call it). But when the New Guard came into existence... well, let's just say that there were entities that naturally handicapped Inoran. In the present day, Inoran cannot simply break a bond. There must be a reason, some sort of conflict, for a bond to be broken.

Most Pillars remain powerful even with the introduction of new entities. Sadly, Inoran is one of the only Pillars that has experienced a reduction in its power as a result. But to say that Inoran wields no power would be a serious misjudgement. Inoran is more powerful than we give it credit for.

Exalting Inoran to the service of the Stormcatcher will remove them from your lair forever. They will leave behind a small sum of riches that they have accumulated. This action is irreversible.
