Pallas is the Altarian Clan's finest warrior and former Mire Flyer. He was one of the original three members of the clan along with Athena and Simon. Externally he appears to be a tough guy and doesn't really get close to other dragons emotionally, but he is actually extremely caring and protective of those who have gained his trust. He secretly dotes on his familiar Parsima and it is really sweet if you are lucky enough to see it.

He is a very good fighter, probably the best in the clan as he spends the most time in the coliseum fighting alongside Athena and Simon. He's not an overly friendly character, but is never intentionally unkind or condescending. He has the vibe of an an older-brother but without the mischief. He is not excessively prideful: his main concern is with being an honorable warrior.

Personality
Pallas has a stoic and straightforward personality and does not show affection in any obvious way. He tends to be distrusting of new people he meets, but once he comes to know them better he is extremely loyal and protective of those he does care for.

Physical Appearance
Pallas has dark reddish fur with darker points on his face, limbs, and tail. He has beautiful blue wings with ivory stripes and an ivory-colored belly that is very soft like the tummy of a kitten.

RELATIONSHIPS

Best Friend Athena is one of Pallas's best friends along with Simon. He was formerly betrothed to Athena until they mutually decided they were be better as platonic friends. They work well together while battling in venues across Sornieth alongside Simon.

Best Friend Simon is one of Pallas's best friends along with Athena and they are very close. While Pallas would never admit it, he loves receiving physical affection from Simon, and cares deeply for the small spiral. They work well together while battling in venues across Sornieth alongside Athena.

Familiar Parsima is Pallas' familiar and baby girl.

Partner Neon is Pallas's mate and the mother of their children. Not much is known about their relationship as they are both very private individuals, but from the outside they appear to respect each other greatly and are comfortable and secure around each other.

Apprentice Melchiah is Pallas' former apprentice. He trained her to take over for him as the clan's main trainer (Mire Flyer) and he takes great pride in her. Although she is many years his senior, her fighting skills were unrefined and he helped her develop them.

LIFE HISTORY

Birth and Childhood Pallas's origins are a mystery. He doesn't like to talk about it very much. Perhaps he was cast out by his parents due to being born with pale feathers, or his egg was mistakenly separated from them. He may have been incubated by birds who thought he was rather odd, an "ugly duckling" of sorts. What is known about Pallas is that he was alone until he encountered Athena and Simon, and despite his misgivings about relying on others due to having had to fend for himself his entire life, he joined them (or rather, gave up on trying to chase them away) and the three became an inseparable team.

Coming of Age
Pallas spent his formative years on his own, fighting for his own survival. It was kill or be killed, and he did anything he had to just to endure, even if it meant harming others. From this experience he developed into a hard, callous, distrusting individual, but that all changed when he met two young siblings.

They were unimpressive, scrappy little things. Their strength and combat skills left much to be desired, but nevertheless they were full of life. They believed in helping others even at a personal cost, something Pallas had never observed and which puzzled him greatly. Although initially he was extremely sceptical and even hostile toward these two, his fascination with their outlook drew him in, and much to his surprise (and dismay) he found himself caring for them.

Pallas loves to fight :3 he secretly likes pastel colors.

Hoard
Pallas doesn't much care for keeping and maintaining a hoard as he feels it weighs him down and ties him to one location. However, he does tend to admire feathers and bones, and may collect bones as trophies as well as create nests primarily of feathers without forming any sentimental attachment to the collection.

As of 08 Apr 2021 (his 1-year birthday) he has 9 likes, one of which is mine.

IRL - Pallas spent a period of time in Naomi's lair training her dragons while I decided what to do with him after realizing he didn't make pretty babies with Athena. In the lore this could translate to them needing space from each other after trying to work out romantically, but I'm not sure about that yet because I want to be particular about Pallas' character development and how his life story is fleshed out.
Despite being a Coatl, he avoids visiting the Ashfall Waste even during breeding season. He may have some trauma there.

12 Jul 23 - around 5:22-5:23 PM Eastern Time when Athena, Simon, and Pallas were coli grinding in the Forbidden Portal Venue they came across either a Fear Frog or a Terror Toad (I believe it was green, so a Terror Toad). During the battle Pallas went berserk and attacked Athena twice, knocking her out before being eliminated by the boss. What a binch move Pallas.
